Take your time. A press-on should release without pulling, ripping, or force. If resistance remains, soften the attachment again and continue slowly.
Step 1 — Soften the attachment
Soak your hands in warm water to help soften the Gluetab bond.
Step 2 — Loosen from one side
Take the included cuticle tool and insert the pointed side gently between the press-on and natural nail from the side. Do not push into the skin.
Step 3 — Work slowly
Move the tool gently back and forth along one side, then repeat on the other side. Continue only until the press-on lifts easily.
Step 4 — Stop if it resists
Never pull, rip, or force the nail. If it does not release, soak again and allow more time.
Removing Gluetab residue from the press-on
- Place the cuticle tool beneath the adhesive residue.
- Twist gently so the residue begins to roll.
- Use the flat side to scrape lightly where needed.
- Avoid scratching the inner surface.
- Remove all residue before cleaning or storing.
Removing residue from natural nails
Roll remaining adhesive away gently with the cuticle tool or use an approved adhesive-removal product. If using remover wipes, use them only after every press-on has been removed and only on the natural nails. Hold the wipe over the residue for approximately 10–15 seconds, then use small circular movements. Wash your hands afterward.
Warning: adhesive-removal solvent can affect the press-on surface. Do not use remover wipes directly on reusable press-ons.
Cleaning the press-ons
- Remove all adhesive residue.
- Wash gently with mild soap and water.
- Do not soak in acetone or harsh chemicals.
- Dry every surface completely.
- Inspect the tip, sidewalls, underside, and finish.
Can this nail be worn again?
Reuse only when the press-on:
- remains structurally intact
- is not cracked, delaminating, or permanently bent
- has no unresolved adhesive residue
- is clean and completely dry
- still fits comfortably
- has not been damaged by acetone, strong solvent, or aggressive filing
Storage
Return the clean, dry nails to the original box or approved storage tray. Keep them protected from dust, moisture, heat, and pressure.
Reapplication
Prepare the natural nails again and apply fresh Gluetabs. Do not reuse old Gluetabs. Buff only new natural-nail growth where necessary.
Natural-nail care
Wash your hands after adhesive removal. Apply cuticle oil when suitable, and allow the natural nails to rest if they feel painful, inflamed, or visibly damaged.
