Small habits can help protect the finish and support better wear. Treat your press-ons with the same care you would give jewellery.
During wear
- Do not use nail tips to open packaging, scrape surfaces, or pry objects.
- Minimize repeated friction at the tips.
- Wear gloves when handling strong household cleaners.
- Avoid acetone and high-concentration alcohol on the press-on surface.
- Wipe accidental chemical exposure away immediately.
- Do not allow moisture or product to remain trapped beneath a lifting nail.
- Replace a loose Gluetab rather than ignoring movement.
Cleaning
Clean the surface gently with mild soap and water when needed. Dry thoroughly. Do not soak the press-ons in harsh chemicals.
Finish refresh
A compatible regular top coat may add shine and help protect edges. Nail-art designs benefit most from an added protective layer. Test first on an unused size.
Natural-nail care
Remove every press-on without force. Avoid repeated aggressive buffing, and use cuticle oil after removal where suitable. Pause use if the natural nail becomes painful, inflamed, or visibly damaged.
Damaged nails
Do not reuse a press-on that is cracked, delaminating, permanently bent, chemically damaged, or no longer comfortable to wear.
Storage
Remove all adhesive residue, wash gently, dry completely, and return the nails to the original box. Store unused Gluetabs clean, dry, and protected from dust.
